I could easily put him in every category here. Zen was the most appropriate.

Osho is a charismatic guy, but thats the problem - his charisma. When people look at his clothes, the way he speaks, the way he moves his hands he looks like a king. That is the problem, he is too attractive. You start imagining that with "self-realization" you will be like him, but its impossible.

This is what his sannyasins are doing, past - present and future, they want to imitate him which is impossible. Osho was a cunning man, he took the most simple thing that ever existed ( "self -realization") brought it here with his teachings and people started thinking that its something special, that is where people have TOTALLY missed. There is nothing special to it, its like doing 1 + 1 = 2, when you realize it you will either say "wow, how stupid was i" or "how is it possible that it is so simple??"

The experiences of "enlightenment" have nothing to do with the understanding itself. You dont get it because you are waiting for some big experience to happen - and that is where i differ with osho, the way he explained his enlightenment experience is too mystical and too extraordinary for the common man but the common man has forgotten that it is all mind games, even the realization itself is mind, because who knows that it has understood? nothing else but the mind... so really there is no self-realization only the thought that " i have understood/realized that there is nothing to understand/realize".

My suggestion is burn all Osho books and audios.

I (totally) agree with but some people need ideas and guidance and listen to each and every individual needs information to continue their journey of some self enlightenment. Even if you get just one things from each self or promoted master you have gained something for yourself.

Not each teacher or master can teach you yourself, which is why this website is here. We need learn from each other but only take what we need to accomplish what the individual needs.

I truly agree on his body language being of a manipulative type so listen to the podcasts.

Everyone needs a light bulb moment something they have missed, life is a jigsaw puzzle and listen to "entertainers" can help.

    Brett.

You see the problem is, that these cunning men have lead us to believe that there is need of a master or a teacher. The truth is you need the master or the teacher to realize that they cant help you.

The other thing is, that we dont even know what reality is and we are "searching" for "self-realization". You look at a door but you call it a door, have you ever thought how you would look at reality if you couldnt name the objects? So, if you cant even trust your "own" eye-sight how can you trust these people? or me or the people on this forum?

The truth that they dont want you to know is, that you are alone, and you are lost, and you are trying to find something by doing meditation or whatever it is youre doing. It is just a Hope game, they play on our weakness and credibility so they gather a following.

You see, the difference between the common man and "realized" one is that the common man lives in hope, the common man still hopes that someday Jesus is going to descend from heaven and help him in his life. So its perfectly fine, some people dont want the harsh reality, some people want to live in hope, so really there is no difference between the two. The so - called masters know people arent "realized" because they keep asking questions about it.

Dont believe what im saying, doubt every statement. No, dont like me, i dont like anyone i dont care about anyone, im just typing this cause i want to pass my time not because im compassionate or caring or some other bull they told you.

Re the comment "I truly agree on his body language being of a manipulative type", I love the Osho comment re him being a teacher of sex.

    The conversation was something like-

    "You only taught free sex"
Osho - "No, I was a meditation teacher"
    "What about all the sex?"
Osho - "when I taught meditation no one came. When I offered sex everyone came. And then I got them to meditate".
