Personally I Have read spiritual teachings, yet I had my own separate practice in which reached me at my destination. Eckhart Tolle is very popular. I myself have helped many spiritually grow. The Buddhists have a different approach to reach enlightenment which is that in the mind instead of out. I prefer the Buddhist approach that one is in mind when he/she is experiencing that which cannot be described only felt.

When you reach the level of the ones that taught you, you look at eachother experiencing the same thing. There are two ways to enlightenment. One is Eckhart Tolles way of being out of mind entirely, yet I've tried that. Wasn't for me. The Zen Buddhists approach of finding enlightenment within the mind as the body as the minds servant worked much great effectiveness. We are what we think. Instead of allowing thoughts to be, how about you don't think at all and when you do out of love.
