    What exactly is Smiling Buddha? I know I could Google it, but I'm choosing to be lazy for the moment :yes:

    simply meditation, without any material... mostly I sit or stand. Observe my surroundings, and concentrate to breath, mindfulness... etc..

    I tend to use music ... very soft music ... and find that sometimes it's like opening that door alot quicker ..
    Apart from that , I normally don't use anything else ...

    I've had Crystals used in a Meditation style healing .. that was nice

    I have just started with meditation but I feel that even with the right ambiance and mood (candles, soft music, etc), my mind still wanders off to other things like work and family and problems. Any tips you could give to help me stay on track? I'd really love to be able to just sit still and listen to myself. I feel I deserve this after being so busy with deadlines in work the past months! Thanks.

    Why Google when Wikipedia has it. Also known as the Budai, the Chinese Buddha that was said to be the reincarnation of Maitreya Buddha. Or a much more fun way or viewing Buddhism.

    It is the path of victory. Through determined efforts, you can find peace, joy and happiness in this life. People have been using meditation tools and techniques for years to tap into their deeper self where creativity stirs. Your meditation skills will develop successful only if you begin physically relaxed.

    Well, body and mind....

    And apart from that i also used a lot of incredibly helpfull techniques from the meditactics meditation project. 10 hours of video and 100 hurs of audio free to download. Stuff with Pema Chodron, The Dalai Lama, Father Thomas Keating, Ken Wilber, Shinzen Young, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Sharen Saltzberg and many many more. Absolutely woooonderful. Check out the video on youtube or at the homepage.

    The whole thing downloaded very quickly. I really hope this project will be huge since all is free and non-profit.

    What do you think?

    Take care all dear meditators. You can get it at http://www.meditactics.com.

    Fixed this for you, why it was moderated;
    The way you did the links with BBcode threw up a big red flag, I have set everything high so I can have time to do other things, normally I just do a quick browse and delete but I noticed the name meditactics which someone was talking about about 3 or 4 weeks ago and lucky you you made it through.

    I have also added your video in the media section under advertisement as your promoting a product.

    Thanks for sharing.
