Hi all, I'm a meditator from way back, the early 70's actually. I started Transcendental Meditation in 1972, while studying philosophy (mostly Hinduism and Buddhism) and religion in college, preparing to become a Catholic priest.

The foray into TM took me in a different direction and I was a regular practitioner for about 12 years.

I have studied Eastern philosophy and comparative religion since the late 60's. I even married a Jewish yoga instructor.

But life moves on...After a couple decades on staff at a non-denominational church the marriage and role at the church ended. I find myself watching things spiritual at a distance, but the interest is still close to my heart.
