    Hello Mey from Indonesia! You are being called towards meditation and you are listening to your inner self. This is something to celebrate! Finding a meditation teacher is a good idea if you can. I am a meditation teacher and teach Heart Rhythm Meditation through my website and in person where I live in the US. You can learn meditation through a website, or books and if you find a teacher, even better. It's ok to check out different types of meditation until you find one that makes good sense to you, that you can do regularly and easily. Let me know if you have other questions on this.

    Having spent 3 months in Australia back in 1986 I can say that to you I hear what you are saying about your current experience. You say you feel different in your mind and soul. I would say that is your mind or ego speaking. If you take a deep breath and think of your heart this will center you and calm you. Keep breathing more slowly and rhythmically. Now think of something or someone that you appreciate. Hold this feeling in your heart space while continuing to stay conscious of your breathing. Good... By focusing on your heart you may feel a connection to something larger than yourself. Sort of like being connected to the One Heart, or like being a wave in the big ocean. We are all waves on the ocean or rays of light from the one Sun. I teach and practice heart rhythm meditation at my site healthy-heart-meditation.com. I offer courses, free and paid that literally get to the heart of the matter of meditation, self, and the One Being.     I would like to try again to properly introduce myself on this forum. Thanks to Brett for giving me a clearer picture of how this forum works. I started meditating about 6 years ago when someone introduced me to a local class. I went and enjoyed it and continued to take classes over the coming years, once per week for 6 or 8 week classes. That was very helpful. I had always been interested in meditation but had never been exposed to a class or a meditation teacher until that day. I found that meditating helped get me out of my head and more into my body which was helpful. I enjoy the feeling of my breath moving in and out of my nose and lungs. I enjoy the quiet peace of meditation. I usually meditate in the mornings and find that that helps get me off on the right track for the rest of my days, feeling centered and with my priorities in order.

    Hi, I m Samad Aslam Khan. Just joined the forum but I'm not new to Meditation. I have research a lot and now I teach meditation. When I searched then found that it's not a new thing that I never did but its something that I'm doing unconsciously. I'm here to share and get more knowledge...     Hello my friends i am little late or say on time to post about my own experience in meditation.It's been 3 years since i started meditating , actually i started meditating accidently ,don't know how but i was actually watching my breath and then my brother who is senior than me told that i am meditating .Then i started developing interest in meditation and did good research from which one thing was clear to me that meditation is actually just remaining alert ,aware and mindful in present moment happening everything to ourself.Benefits promised by meditation comes naturally and one should not go looking for it and also that there is no technique for meditation but one should as a beginner first develop his concentration then meditation happens naturally.So i started watching my breath for 20 mins in the morning and evening and soon i started feeling good and relax and also sometimes i used to feel angry and kind of different emotions when meditating and other times but i knew that all this are just game of mind so i continued with practice.I still have some irrational fears such as public speaking and little bit shyness .I have done third eye meditation also for 1 month but then i didnt continue it .Meditations which i am doing right now are tratak,mindful breathing,remaining observer of everything happening to us .And yes one important thing courses that i have done are 10 days vipassana course taught by s.n.goenka and on may/ 1 /2011 i am doing one more 10 days course from pune branch .

    hello, I've just recently discovered the vast world of meditation and mindfulness. I am very curious but I am a bit hesitant to try only because I want to be able to continue doing it once I start. I would want to find answers to whether it truly did help change your outlook in life and find solutions to your goals easier by having a clear mind. i hope to learn from the experts. thanks!
