You, and you alone, are responsible for your thoughts. Nobody in the world can put a thought in your head without your permission. Your mind belongs to you! It's your job to control your thoughts! You are the master of your Mind, and you are the guardian of your thoughts. Only you can determine what they will be, and only you can change them.
Choose only those thoughts that will bring to you the results that you want. Never create a thought about anything that you do not want to happen. This is a very important statement. It determines much of what you will have in your life. Do not allow negative thoughts to enter your mind. If you do allow them to enter your mind, they have a very good chance of becoming your reality. It sounds so very simple, and it sounds that way because it is that way. You must choose to eliminate negative thoughts from even having a chance of entering your mind. :yes:

I think that you simply can't avoid having some negative thoughts, but if you have one you should choose to not attach any emotions to that thought and simply set free this negative thought immediately by saying: "I Thank you my beautiful mind/memory for warning me, but I've chosen another way already"

Make a decision to do your own thinking and have control over your attitude. That means deciding to conquer the negativity that is going on around you. Think of what you can do today and how you will react that will make a difference to your life instead of allowing people and situations to dictate.Associate or mix around with people who can provide something of value. Avoid those who sap your energy and motivation. If you can't avoid them, or don't want to, learn how not to let them get you down.
3Start saying positive things especially about yourself. How you communicate to yourself affects your thinking and your emotions, as well as your self-esteem.
4Try new things. Experiencing a wide variety of life in a positive light will do wonders. Something as simple as trying the mussels in a restaurant can lead to new tastes and different sensations.
5Read more. Read about how those people who fought fear with courage and succeeded in life. Through reading, you will gain new knowledge and understanding and it will help you clear whatever is blocking your thinking and create more ideas.
6Set goals no matter how impossible it may seem at the moment. Keep yourself busy working on them. Once you reach one, you will get inspired. With each goals achieved no matter how small, you will gain confidence and your self-esteem will increase.
7Change your mental pictures. What and how you see yourself and your surroundings make a difference to your thinking. You are visualizing or imagining something at every waking hour. Start to change your old internal dis-empowering pictures with images of something that you wish to experience.
8Start questioning yourself on your behavior and attitude. Ask yourself why you are resisting or producing the habits or attitudes that you dislike. Stop each time you catch yourself in a circumstance that brings about negativity and doubts.
All negative toughts comes form you. If you decide to not think negatively, you don't think negative way. Your mind is basicly Clear (deep inside) without anything negative. When your mind is clear you can put positive things there and you can see quite easily "throught all people" (what they have put in their mind). Try not to put anything on your mind, what not belongs there, and be mindful.
All these things are so true, and most of us know them from experience and from study, but they seem to slip from our consciousness as we chase ourselves around and around, trying to cope with the demands of each day. It is so important to start the day with meditation, find moments in the middle of the day, and meditate and give thanks at the end of the day. It is so important to not let negative people or the thought of them dominate our thinking. Joy and sufficiency are ours and come from within. Thanks for that little list.
So true and with so much going on whether on TV, from passing people we meet on the street, what we passively see and hear it's not always easy to tune out the negative and focus on the positive. I've learned though one cannot let one's guard down and absorb all that one sees and hears without filtering it. If it even remotely smells negative it's then and there we choose not to accept it. We cannot control how others approach us, but we can control how we approach them and what we will allow to affect us (or not).
