Breathing for inner peace this you must breathe into your heart center and solar plexus, this requires deep meditative breathing. Breathing deep into your body and holding your breathe for 2-5 seconds and then letting it out like blowing out a candle gently and purposefully. Doing this for 3 or more times and then releasing tension out of your heart center and solar plexus each time.
See Chakras for more information on the heart center and solar plexus.

    Inner Peace Meditation
Inner peace is about being positive and affirming your mind body and soul with positive thoughts.

    During your day
Every time you feel like your inner peace disappearing sit quietly and take a deep breath and ask your self why you feel this way.

Once you find out why change that thought to a positive thought, take another deep breathe and sit in reflection.

Do this often, after a while you will be able to be positive about every situation in your life no matter what it is.

    When you Wake up.
When you wake up think positive about the day ahead, take a deep breath before you get out of bed and affirm to yourself your day is going to postive and nothing will bring me down I will only think positive thoughts.

Do this everyday even if you are feeling great.

Inner balance is something we all need, if we are to ride the emotional waves of life’s little tempests and larger, wilder storms. Just as ballast helps a boat to stay afloat, inner balance can help us to weather anything life brings.

I've written an article on how to achieve inner peace. CHeck it out. I'm interested in your opinion

The article was great, thanks for sharing. I was especially interested on how to "Control your thoughts." As humans, I think we all have a hard time controlling or thoughts or how we feel about things. I am a pretty positive person but yet I still get stressed out easily. What are your thoughts on that? Also how do you stay positive when you are constantly around someone that puts off a lot of negative?

Still working pn the external negative distraction, personally I get anxious and frustrated with these people and try to give them a path to take. Though i usualky get pushed away.

You can also just walk away and just start mumbling non sense and they think your crazy and they leave you alone. Which is what I do at work.

I honestly wish I could just walk away and start mumbling to myself at work, problem is, my job is caring for someone that already talks to himself (mentally ill) and is incapable of understanding what he's doing that's causing the negative distraction. I've had to learn other techniques to handle the stress and negativity which happens too often in my work day.
