Ll of us spiritual folks are on the search for enlightenment. Enlightenment is not the end. It is the beginning. Most search for enlightenment to occur sometime. Sometime as in future. The thing is enlightenment or fully living in the Now with peace, joy, and love can ONLY occur right at the exact moment. You are already living in it, you are just in thè midst of undoing your thought processes. You must become aware of all within. Thoughts and emotions. You must see yourself as of who you are separate from your thoughts entirely. Thoughts are just thoughts. They are not you. Negative thoughts only seem so powerfully impacted on you because you get a negative emotion. Well your body in which gives the emotion is blind that the negative feeling is to warn the mind not to think that, blind to the fact it's manifesting in which it gives fear to.
Enlightenment boils down to two words. One prevents it, the other leads to enlightenment.
Resistence and acceptance.
The only reason you don't already feel enlightened is because you are resisting what occurS right now. As soon as you stop that you are enlightened. You then no longer feel pain. Your then in the now. You are free of most of your thoughts. The ego is then broken. It's that simple, but hard to do. One day you will have enough of thinking do much which prevents you from feeling good that you will make that leap of faith. That one powerful moment instantly brings you to your home away from home. The now. It is very peaceful, joyful, energetic, loving, and eventually blissful. I only found it at such. Young age was because I was killing myself with obsessive anxiety attack ridden thoughts all say long that I had no choice to dissociate myself in my thoughts. I had enough pain. 7 years of it.
This is a saying I say and Eckhart Tolle says that can only be understood when your there. "it is what it is as it occurs right now.". To me if a thought presents itself it occurs in awareness not caught up In time. The Now is in the timeless dimension. Your thoughts cannever understand it because thoughts are in time. The now is not. Don't be surprised if you make it to the timeless and then are brought out of it because your thoughts are trying to understand it. When your there you must accept it. The now is what you make of it. It can bring you peace and abundance or pain. The choice is yours. Until you find it, at least shift your thoughts to be positive because thinking you are what you think. Thoughts turn into actual action. You must continue to practice with comiing, dedication, faith, or whatever motivates you. It depends how badly you desire it. Another great truth is that humans evolve at the rate of their suffering. Suffer much, grow fast. Suffer little, grow little. Why? Pain of mind and body creates mental resistance. It takes resistence on your muscles to grow. Same with brain. Each time you feel pain you become mentally stronger.
