Default Concentrating on the Spiritual Eye During Meditation

In meditation, try to focus your awareness at the point between the eyebrows. Do not stress. (Some novice yogis meditate as if their brains were muscles that must be contracted into the desired mindsets!) Instead, plainly direct your consciousness relaxingly, and with a sense of jolly desire, to that point. What you need to be doing, actually, is centering increasingly of the brain's energy there. The more of this concentration reaction at that point, the more powerfully that area of the brain will be provoked and awakened, and the more deep will be your spiritual consciousness.

Are you referring to the Third Eye?

Red face Re: Concentrating on the Spiritual Eye During Meditation

I have a hard time expressing this, mainly beacause of my lack of vocab.
after acheiving complete relaxation of the body, i become aware of a pulsating indigo light over my third eye. i do not concentrate on it, instead i let it engulf me until im surrounded by it. i soon enter what i can only explain as a wormhole, lined with sacred geometry all over the walls. i follow this wormhole to an opening where thousands of other tetrehedron shaped vehicles are flowing into a double sided umbrella. i enter one side of the umbrella after circulating it a few times, and then well what happens next gets a little intense, and feels more like a dream. i see myslef in third person, flying through stars and beautiful nebulas. all the while i see frames of images from alternate realities/dimensions/my own thoughts? until i reached this library. this library had books for days! but i dont get to look at them, instead theres an old man with silver hair in front of me. he turns around and sees me, a shocked expression comes over his face, then he is bludgened in the head by a shadow. i see his body on the floor and stare in to his left eye. as i stare, a shining pyramid in white light overtakes my whole vision and i am sucked into it. details are a little hazy, but now im deep in ocean, and a red head girl with abnormally big eyes is in a yellow submarine (ha, beatles was my instant thought) waving good by at me as she started heading towards the surface. i look around and see these huge squid/whale/jellyfish hybrids all around. i dive deeper(what i assume is deeper) and end up coming into the earths atmosphere and fall back into my physical body.

so my question is, what do you experience when you are in deep meditation? what do you see? where do you go? if you dont mind me asking.

    love and peace!!!

Most intriguing. I cannot seem to absorb myself that far into meditation just yet, but to know such possibilities are out there and they're being discussed makes it all the more exciting!

I do wish to read more and if by some chance I manage to get an encounter as such of my own, I will post it up also!
